A beautiful, deep, grounded yellow. Surprisingly flexible in what it pairs nicely with. A team player. No brassy harsh undertones here. Most closely matches DMC 3820/21.

DIMENSIONS: This listing fits standard embroidery hoops with a screw tensioner. The frame will usually cover about an 1/8" of the fabric of your work. Typical sizes as follows:

  • For a 3" hoop: These hoops are typically 3.4" in diameter. The frame is 5" in diameter and has an interior opening of 3.1".

  • For a 4" hoop: These hoops are typically 4.25" in diameter. The frame is 6" in diameter and has an interior opening of 3.85".

  • For a 6" hoop: This size hoop varies A LOT!! Hoops are typically 6.25" in diameter. The frame is 9" in diameter and has an interior opening of 5.75".  

    • ALTERNATIVE 6"-small: If you have a finished hoop that measures 6" across rather than 6.25", order the "small" alternative. 

    • ALTERNATIVE 6”-XL: If you have a finished hoop that measures 6.5” across rather than 6.25”, order the “XL” alternative.

  • For a 7" hoop: These hoops are typically 7 3/8th in diameter. The frame is 10" wide and has an interior opening of 6.75".

  • For a 8" hoop: These hoops are typically 8.375" in diameter. The frame is 11" wide and has an interior opening of 7.8".

    • ALTERNATIVE 8"-small: If you have a finished hoop that measures 7.9" across rather than 8.375", order the "small" alternative. 

  • For ovals with the screw on the end/top: If you have the 8.25x5.25 oval hoops of the "Pointy" variety and have the screw at the pointy END. They can frame either a Vertical or Horizontal hoop.

  • For ovals with the screw on the side: If you have the 5x9 oval hoops with the screw on the long side.

We use furniture grade birch plywood for our frames. The frames are 3/4” thick.
