The Goldilocks of our frames… not too big, not too small. This frame fits a standard 6” wooden hoop.
This frame is built to fit a standard 6” wooden embroidery hoop. Typically, these hoops are approximately 6.25” across. We’ve built in a little wiggle room for the hoops to vary in size and for you to center your work. The frame’s center opening is 5.75” diameter. The frame measures 9” wide and 9” tall.
NOTE: Some hoops sold as “6” hoops” (Talkin’ to you, Amazon!) are actually significantly smaller and measure just 6.0” across. Please order the “small” version for a better fit.
AND: Some hoops (maybe you got the Uber Nice heavy ones) are as big as 6.5” across. Please order the “XL” version for a better fit.
We use furniture grade birch plywood for our frames. They are 3/4” thick. Finish Options are pictured above and include: Natural Oil, White Stain, Walnut Stain, Black Stain, and Unfinished. Each piece of wood absorbs the stains uniquely.
