How to Pick the Right Size
Embroidery hoops might be marked with a simple “8 inch” label… but I guarantee they aren’t actually 8.0” across. Hoop manufacturers are not standardized, so let’s adapt to what we have in hand. We’ve got all of the most common hoop sizes matched with frames that fit them.
Your hoop fits into a recess on the back side of the frame, so the outer diameter is the most important measurement.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HOOP
Measure the diameter of your hoop, the distance across at the widest point, from the OUTSIDE edge to the opposite OUTSIDE edge of the outer hoop.
Measure to the nearest 1/8".
