Needleminder: Pumpkin Seed

The Avlea Folk Embroidery "Byzantine Motifs" series of needleminders is inspired by the tiny decorations and ornamentations found in Byzantine manuscripts and iconography. These lovely motifs are tiny works of art! Needleminders are terrific for not just holding your needle when not in use, but for securing your fabric as you stitch, or holding your pattern to your frame. They can even be worn as a beautiful magnet pin! Needleminder is 1" across and comes with a 1/2" neodymium magnet (it's strong!)

The Pumpkin Seed motif is found across many types of art from quilting patterns to mosaic tiles to the delightful little Byzantine motif that inspired this design.
